Shura Council delegation discusses common issues with Tajik Speaker of Parliament

The delegation of members of the Saudi-Tajik Parliamentary Friendship Committee held a meeting at the Shura Council, led by Council Member and Committee Chairman; Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba, at the headquarters of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency Mohammad Tahir Zakirzadeh, during the delegation’s current official visit to Tajikistan. During the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Representatives emphasized the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, issues of common concern to the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen them were discussed.

In this regard, a delegation of members of the Shura Council’s Saudi-Tajik Parliamentary Friendship Committee held a meeting during their visit with members of the House of Representatives’ Parliamentary Friendship Committee headed by the committee’s Chairman Aidi Zadeh.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and how to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in the parliamentary field, and stressed the importance of mutual visits, strengthening communication between the Consultative Council and the Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the House of Representatives in a way that achieves the common interests of the two countries and fraternal peoples.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Tajikistan Walid bin Abdul Rahman Al-Rashidan.

The delegation of the Shura Council’s Saudi-Tajik Parliamentary Friendship Committee included Council member Abdul Rahman bin Suleiman Al Sayyari, Major General Sami bin Zayed Al Hazmi, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Al Najjar and Dr. Hassan bin Salim Al Masloum.
