Andreas Gukasyan said: “The value of Lake Sevan is about 10 billion Armenian drams, which can bring 2 billion Armenian drams to GDP, but now the GDP of Lake Sevan is less than 100 billion Armenian drams”, and this failure is the result of poor management, as evidenced by the embezzlement of 1 billion Armenian drams.
Authir Gagik Sukhudyan of Sevan National Park considers the current situation in Sevan worrying and said, “Now we don’t have a national park, but only a territory divided into several plots of land, the owners of which are high-level officials who don’t want to demolish buildings on the leased territories.”
