Online Citizenship: In 1998, the biggest historical drama “Al-Af” was broadcast on television. After the “Mokhtarnameh” series, Dawood Mirbagheri went to “Salman Farsi” to realize it. Now it has been almost 7 years since the production of the series. The script of the series was supervised by Mir Bagheri, Amrullah Ahmadjo participated in the writing, and Hossein Taheri was in charge of production. The art design of Salman Farsi was also done by Mohsen Shah Ebrahimi. In addition, the makeup design of the series was done by Abdullah Eskandari.

The production of the series “Salman Farsi” was so important to Sedavasima that Peyman Jabali went backstage every few months after appearing in the national media in order to be directly involved in the production process of the series. Salman Farsi, an Iranian friend of the Prophet, tells the story of Iran in the Sassanid, Byzantine and early Islamic periods in 3 chapters.
• The filming of the series began in Kerman in December 2018 and continued in Shahroud, Qeshm, Jolfa, Ghazali, Noor and Defense Moqds Film City. Of course, the production of this series has also experienced many ups and downs. The spread of the coronavirus pandemic has even killed some of the actors of the series directly or indirectly, and recently, the wall of one of the historical buildings collapsed, killing several artists. At the same time, the lack of funds and sometimes disputes led to the closure of the project.
• Now the filming of the second season of “Salman Farsi” is about to begin. As Mir Bagheri said, the first season of this historical drama set in Iran and Byzantium has been completed and will begin in 1405.

Moreover, the second season of this special series A will be conducted in Hejaz and Iran and the series will continue until the death of Salman Farsi.
• There are more than 1,500 characters in the story of Salman Farsi. The number of actors and artists in the play is nearly 20,000. At the same time, nearly 40 foreign actors from Morocco, Tunisia, Armenia and Greece also appeared in front of Mir Bagheri’s camera. It seems that in the next part, the crew will invite other actors from different countries to play.
• Actors like Farhad Aslani, Mohammad Reza Hedayati, Behnaz Tawakli, Alireza Shoja Nouri have played roles in the show’s second season. The show’s cast includes Dariush Farhang, the late Siamak Atlasi, Mahmoud Paknit, Jafar Dehghan, Enayat Bakshi, Sehbeh Borumand, Behnaz Jafari, Setara Eskandari, the late Jalilund, Toraj Nasr, Elika Abdul Razzaghi.

• Mir Bagheri is producing this serial, which is divided into three seasons, namely Byzantine Season, Ancient Iran Season and Hijaz Season, and is currently being filmed in Shahrud. The director’s team has been working in different cities since the start of the filming, and the 2 film towns of Ghazali, Defense Moqds and Shahrak Noor are also under the deployment of Salman Mirbagheri’s project. The production team has even traveled to Armenia.
• Filming for the second season is also taking place in Ghazali town, such as the Marbin complex, Marmar caravanserai and the sets made by Jay and Tisfon, and will continue until next year.
• Filming of ancient Iran began in August last year. This season is the most important for the show, with many actors playing roles in it. This is the first time that ancient Iran, the Iran before the Sassanid Empire and Islam, has been studied.
