Scotland draw with Switzerland

The Scotland national team drew 1-1 with Switzerland in the second round of Group A of the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany on Wednesday evening.

Scotland scored in the 11th minute through Scott McTominay, but Xherdan Shaqiri equalised for Switzerland in the 26th minute.

Switzerland is now second in the group with four points after beating Hungary 3-1 in the first round, while Scotland has its first point in history and is third in the standings. After a 5-1 defeat to the leaders Germany in the first match, they secured their place in the round of 16 with six points.
