SBS launches 2025 journalism training programme in memory of Bridget Munro
The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) has announced its 2025 Journalism Cadet Program in memory of the late Bridget Munro, a respected senior news producer who died in November 2023.
The 12-month program provides practical experience across the SBS platform, including placements in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
Three positions are available, with one position reserved for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidate, supported by National Indigenous Television (NITV).
The application deadline for general trainees is September 6, 2024, and the application deadline for Aboriginal trainees is September 30. Interested candidates can find more information and apply on SBS Careers.
