Satellite Investments Drilling Services recently donated a borehole valued at over N$70,000 to the Sam Nujoma United School in the Zambezi region, which has reportedly been without drinking water since its establishment 80 years ago.
“My dream in the next three to four months is to ensure that every teacher has a running water in his yard,” said Alfred Lutaka, the company’s owner.
The district’s deputy education director, Norah Maemeko-Munembo, expressed her gratitude to Satellite Investment for the generous donation. “This valuable donation is vital and we want to assure you that we will do everything we can to ensure that it continues to work and benefit the students of Dr Sam Nuyoma Comprehensive School. I would also like to urge the principal, management and school board to ensure that our academic performance improves significantly. Now that one of our biggest challenges has been addressed, we can continue to provide quality education,” she said.
