Samini showcases her acting skills in crime thriller Storm

Ghanaian dancehall icon, Samini, showcases his acting talent in the upcoming movie, Storm, where he essays the role of Ali Zafarah, a powerful and respected leader of the Southern criminal underworld.

Produced by Ben Owusu, the film will premiere at the Silverbird Cinema in Kumasi on September 21 and 22, 2024. Storm is a thrilling exploration of Accra’s underworld, weaving stories of crime, corruption and the fight for justice.

The film features a stellar cast including Adjetey Anang, Ama K. Abebrese, Salma Mumin, Fiifi Coleman, Edward Agyekum Kuffuor and Luckie Lawson.

The story follows the devastating effects of crime in Accra, with Ajeet Annan and Ama K. Abebres as dedicated detectives fighting for justice. Meanwhile, Luki Lawson’s Millie becomes a social advocate, rises to fame overnight and positions herself as a rival for the presidency. Samini’s ruthless Ali Zafarah adds an intriguing layer to this tense film.
