Sadar placed seventh in the 400m final

SecondAlbanian quarter-mile runner Sada Williams finished seventh in the much-anticipated women’s 400m final at the Paris Olympics on Friday.

She won the competitive event with a time of 49.83 seconds, with Mariledi Paulino of the Dominican Republic breaking the record with a time of 48.17 seconds.

Prime Minister Mia Mottley left a message to Williams on Instagram, encouraging the athlete to keep his head up.
She said Sadar is arguably one of the best 400-meter runners in the world.

Motley added that Thaad’s historic performance in Paris should not be underestimated, stressing that she had made her country proud.
Bahraini athlete Nasser won the silver medal with a time of 48.53 seconds, and Polish athlete Kaczmarek won the bronze medal with a time of 48.98 seconds.
