Moscow (for you) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its forces liberated the town of Timofeevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“Through active operations, the Russian army inflicted heavy casualties and material losses on the forces of the Kiev regime, liberated the town of Timofeevka of the Donetsk People’s Republic and improved their positions on a number of other axes,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in its daily report, reporting on the progress of special military operations.
The tactical combat aviation, marching, missile and artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed two Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft and a B-18 radar station for detecting and tracking air targets. In addition, weapons and ammunition depots and concentrated human and military equipment of the Ukrainian army in 127 regions were destroyed.
Russian air defenses also shot down six US-made Himal missiles and 51 Ukrainian drones in the past 24 hours.
