A bus collided with a truck on the N15 motorway near Pommerloch on Friday morning, injuring several people, two to three of them seriously, prompting the Luxembourg Air Rescue to immediately take emergency action and dispatch three helicopters.

A bus lost control at a roundabout and crashed into a stationary truck on the N15 near Pommerloch at around 11am on Friday. According to initial reports, two to three people were seriously injured in the collision, while around 13 people are thought to have suffered minor injuries.

The Grand Duchy Fire and Rescue Service (CGDIS) sent a team to the crash site, while the Luxembourg Air Rescue Service sent three helicopters.

At present, the road involved is still closed and a forensic team has been sent to the scene of the accident.
