Do you occasionally go out on a racing bike or do you plan to get active with your bike? Then make the most of the free evenings organised by the Groenlose Cycling Club RTCG in April. You’ll learn all about long-distance rides, group rides and bicycle safety. And you’ll be working on your fitness at the same time!
In April, RTCG has arranged a total of eight evening sessions; every Tuesday and Thursday evening. During the evening sessions given by experienced cyclists and coaches, you will learn the essentials of safe cycling as a (new) cyclist: riding in a group, cycling techniques (braking, shifting, turning), hand signals for cyclists to greet each other, route knowledge, training and materials.
Small groups, personal attention
In the evenings, the rides are done in small groups so that all group members can keep up the pace. As April approaches, the trips through the Achterhoek get longer and longer. You will work on improving your physical fitness while getting to know our beautiful region better in a fun way. The last boarding night will take place on King’s Day, April 27th; anyone who wishes can join the BIKE-BEER-BBQ organized by RTCG in conjunction with Brouwersnös and ride the 80 km road trip as a group.
Explore RTCG
During the evening you will also get to know the RTCG Groenlo with its 150 members. The RTCG is an active association where people often ride together, organize surprising trips, where fun and sportsmanship go hand in hand. After the evening at the hostel you can of course become a member of this beautiful Grolse association.
Attend evening training
Participation in the series of boarding evenings in April is completely free. In addition, you are insured for up to €500 for the entire month of April in the event of an accident. The first boarding evening is Tuesday 2nd April. We meet at Goossens Tweewielers in Groenlo at 6.45pm.
Can we say hello to you? Please send an email to Mathijs Paf to register ledenadministratie@rtcg.nl Or call 06 48 37 34 68. He will be happy to tell you more about the evening and its structure. Hope to see you on the evening of Tuesday 2 April!
