Rice farmers in Nickli have reacted strongly to recent allegations of arson at two locations in the Henar region.

The fire, which broke out on a public road on Saturday evening, has sparked concern and speculation about farmers’ involvement.

The rice farmers strongly stressed that they had nothing to do with the fires and pointed out that they are not criminals. “We are not criminals,” they said. “Our actions are aimed at seeking fair compensation and constructive dialogue with the government, not inciting violence.”

Police have launched an arson investigation but it is not yet clear who is responsible.

There is no evidence to suggest the arsonists were fanatical groups of farmers. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to identify those responsible and prevent further incidents.

The rice farmers remain committed to a peaceful resolution and call on all parties concerned to remain open to dialogue and not resort to violent actions.

They stressed that the purpose of the protest was to obtain fair compensation for the losses suffered, not to disrupt public order.
