Libreville, Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (Gabon News) – The Transitional President, General Brice Clotaire Origi Nguema, addressed the population last Saturday at the town hall of Lambaréné, capital of the Central Ogoué province.

The President of the Republic has therefore provided funding of 7 billion CFA francs (7,000,000,000) to realize major development projects in the province, the construction of an aerospace observation center, the restoration of the “Palais Auguet” hotel. The transformation of the Schweitzer Hotel into a school hotel will help preserve jobs and create other jobs, diversify accommodation services and train young people for hospitality careers.
Shopping centers should also be built to create a large number of jobs and provide people with access to more diverse services. A one-stop service center for the National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI) should be built to facilitate procedures related to the creation of enterprises.
Fly Gabon will serve all provinces of the country and the fencing of Georges Lavery Airport and the construction of Lambaréné Municipal Market must also be completed.
Furthermore, as part of its corporate social responsibility, Maurel et Prom will build a pharmacy, a primary school and a city with 100 housing units for the Lambaréné community.
