On August 13, the Public Servants’ Union (SFP), represented by its Deputy Secretary General Christophe Psychogios, attended a government meeting together with the newly elected DSFE representative in the Joint Administrative Committee responsible for the position of Social Educational Administrative Assistant and Social Educational Advisor.
The working session focused on two topics: Revision of the employment framework for social agents, socio-educational assistants and socio-educational consultants, which will be on the agenda of the next meeting of the High Council for Public Service and the High Council for Public Service The creation of a special hardship allowance for certain DSFE agents.
Union representatives analyzed the situation of DSFE agents, the problems encountered on a daily basis, working conditions, overload of activities, unsatisfactory career development and the perceived lack of attractiveness of remuneration in terms of the evolution of tasks, as well as the required diploma level.
The increased psychosocial risk of DSFE agents was also highlighted, which has a direct impact on the care of users due to the lack of human resources.
The Blazeson administration wishes to express its solidarity with the DSFE agents and thank them for their dedication in serving the people. The heads of departments of the DSFE and DGRH drafted an exhaustive progress report on the topics raised by the SFP. He also reiterated his commitment to the realization of some projects that have been under construction for many years, while recalling the strict budgetary constraints that government actions must comply with.
The two sides agreed to communicate regularly to monitor the progress of the various files as closely as possible. The Vice President will soon meet with the regional heads of the DSFE to strengthen the dialogue between the State and its agents.
