Libreville, Thursday, August 15, 2024 (Gabon News) – As a continuation of the Republican journey that began last October, the Transitional President visited Libreville on Tuesday, August 13. He was welcomed by a cheering crowd in Bikelé, in the third district of Ntoum commune.

While welcoming the Head of State, the Special Representative raised a series of grievances with Gabon One, including youth unemployment, the construction of a pedestrian bridge near the Bizango Rails public school, the completion of construction work at the Bikélé Medical Centre and the construction of a municipal market and bus station.

The president of Bikele College, former Prime Minister Paul Biyoghé Mba, said at the scene that he would like to see Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema continue his mission as head of state after the transition.

In his speech to the people of Bukele, the head of state called on everyone to foster social peace and a holy union. “A nation is built in unity and this is the unity I want. Let Gabonese talk to each other, let Gabonese understand each other, help our country rise and make tomorrow better than today,” said the transitional president.

During his visit to Bikele as part of his tour of the Republican Estuaire Province, General Blaise Clotaire Origi Nguema inaugurated a sports complex in the area. The infrastructure includes basketball, football, volleyball and handball courts.
