Armenia’s net remittance inflows decreased by 48.3% in the first half of 2024. This was announced by Finance Minister Vah Hovhanisyan during the debate on the report on the implementation of the state budget for the first half of 2024 at the meeting of the Standing Committee on Finance, Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly on Monday.
Hovhannisyan said that the net inflow of non-commercial remittances from Russia fell by 69.4%, causing the most serious negative impact.
