In addition, the Peace and Reconciliation Ambassadors of the Mazandaran Provincial Prison Department were honored in the form of a Peace and Reconciliation Ambassadors Conference in the presence of the Chief Judge of Mazandaran Province and the Provincial Prison Director.

The director of the Mazandaran Provincial Prison also stated at the gathering: In the past year, based on the peace and compromise between the two parties in the case, 41 prisoners sentenced to self-punishment obtained final consent, and conditional consent was obtained for 64 people. In addition, this year, 7 prisoners obtained explicit consent and 5 prisoners obtained conditional consent.

Ali Ostadi added: “Our colleagues from the Provincial Prison Conflict Resolution Committee also did a very good job last year, where peace and reconciliation was achieved between 821 people. This year, peace and reconciliation was achieved between 287 people.”

Next, the Chief Judge of Mazandaran Province visited the prisons for drug offenders in the province, met with some of the clients face to face, and processed their requests. 1,350 eligible people were approved on the occasion of Judicial Week and the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Chief Judge Mazandaran said that the parties should be mindful of their conduct and behavior in society during their leave, and continued: This leave can be the basis for the full release of these people.
