President Erdogan said the government led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was terrorizing the entire region and was ready to support peace.
Erdogan made a speech after the NATO leaders’ meeting in Washington, the capital of the United States, and once again put Israel’s massacre of Palestinians on the agenda.
“It is impossible for the Israeli government to cooperate with NATO,” Erdogan said, adding that “Turkey will continue to oppose close relations between Israel and NATO until a comprehensive and sustainable peace is established in Palestine.”
Erdogan said Turkey would continue to provide all-round support for a lasting solution. “I call on all our partners to increase pressure on the Netanyahu-led government to stop its attacks and provide uninterrupted humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, who have been struggling with hunger for nine months,” he said.
Erdogan said that Turkey expects support from its partners in the fight against terrorism, “It is impossible for us to accept the relationship of some partners, especially the Syrian branches of the terrorist organizations Kurdistan Workers’ Party and PYD/YPG.”
Speaking of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Erdogan reminded Türkiye to continue its efforts to end the war.
