A 30-year-old man was detained by police during a drug raid in Raiwaqa this morning.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said the raid was carried out by the Southern Zone Special Task Force and police seized sealed bags containing white crystals, suspected to be methamphetamine, digital scales and smoking paraphernalia.
ACP Driu acknowledged that the information sharing was welcome as it greatly aided the ongoing efforts to reduce the supply of drugs.
