Algerian attacking midfielder Rafik Gitane has reportedly signed for Braga.
This has been a matter of days in the making, with the Braga coach announcing the news himself this morning, an hour after the club officially confirmed Gitane’s arrival. He is on loan for one season with a €5 million purchase option.
It is a step forward for the 25-year-old, who will return to the Europa League, having already played for Rennes in 2019.
At Braga, he should compete with the young Ismael Galbi (20, training at Paris SG), but also with Joao Moutinho, even if the latter is injured.
