Rabbi Yoel Pinto, son and successor of Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto, explains the deep connection between man and Torah, through which we can know how to face the challenges of life.
Rabbi Yoel, with his profound words, stressed the importance of understanding Torah as a tool to guide a person at every stage of life in order to achieve his goals in the best and most complete way.
“God is the creator of our souls,” Rabbi Yoel said, and according to him, every trial and challenge we go through in life is created by God and is part of the path we must walk. “God did not leave us alone in this battle,” he continued, “He gave us the Holy Torah, which contains detailed instructions on how a person should act at every stage of life.”
Rabbi Yoel stressed that the Torah is the ultimate guide for life, providing answers to every question we may have in life and solutions to every confusion we encounter. “If a person is wise enough,” Rabbi Yoel said, “and knows how to read the Torah in a way that connects with the reality of his life, then he will be truly aware of everything that will happen in the future and know the answer to every problem he encounters.”
He believes that we must adapt the Torah to the times we live in, reading it correctly and clearly so that we can understand what God requires of us and why he has placed us in the realities of life we live in.
