Qatar won 14 medals at the West Asian Table Tennis Championships in Jordan.

Qatar’s table tennis team won six medals (four gold, seven silver and three bronze) at the West Asian Championships held in Amman, Jordan. Eleven countries participated.
Returning to the results of the Qatar Table Tennis Team’s journey, it won 6 colorful medals at the team level, including two gold medals in the Under-17 Youth Group and the Under-15 Youth Group, in addition to winning 3 silver medals in the team competition. The Under-13 Cubs Group, the Under-11 Al Baram Group, the Under-11 Al Baram Group and the Women’s Group won bronze medals.
At the doubles level, the team’s players won 4 colored medals: gold in the Under-15 category, silver in the Under-17 category and Al-Baram in the Under-11 category, in addition to a bronze medal in the women’s category.
In terms of individuals, a total of 4 colored medals were won, including one gold medal in the under-17 category, in addition to two silver medals in the under-17 category and under-11 Al Baram category, and a bronze medal in the women’s category.
At the end of the competition, officials of the West Asian Federation, led by the Jordanian Federation and the President of the West Asian Federation, Tariq Zubbi, crowned the champion in the presence of many officials of the participating local federations.
Khalid Ali Al Kuwari, head of the Qatar table tennis delegation and director of the national team at the West Asian Championships, expressed his happiness with the achievements made by the Qatar table tennis team in this competition.
In a press statement, Kuwari said that Qatari table tennis is constantly developing and always looks forward to reaching the podium, and stressed that efforts will continue to be redoubled to achieve more results and enhance Qatar’s reputation in various foreign competitions.
