According to Tabnak, Mohammad Bakr Qalibaf said at today’s public meeting of the Islamic Council and after presenting the report of the Minister of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare on the operation, progress and launch of the Welfare System of Iranians and the Welfare System of Iranians: These projects were mentioned in the budgets of 1401 and 1402, and then in the budget of 1403, which witnessed the organization and efficiency of policies on eliminating deprivation and eliminating discrimination in the name of creating an information base for the benefit of the Iranian people, and the targeted and fair allocation of government resources.
He went on to say: “Despite efforts, this work has been slow to progress and there are serious problems with the accountability of policy-making institutions, while there are still no clear indicators to focus on poor areas and groups.”
The Chairman of the Islamic Council stressed the need for the Social Committee to intervene in this issue, saying: There is no consensus among the institutions on the issue of deprivation until the system is online, and there is no accurate two-way communication and analytical informationization, so we will face fundamental problems.
He also pointed out the operation of Iran’s welfare base and said: This issue was mentioned in the Sixth Development Plan and the Seventh Development Plan, and many of us raised it.
He explained: “There are problems with the registration, deletion and addition of personnel information, and there is actually no proper mechanism in the field of verification, which leads to problems. At the same time, although the data law has been approved, cooperation between devices has not been achieved.”
The Chairman of the Islamic Council stressed: If there is no data exchange between devices, no two-way communication, all efforts and money will not reach the target group, and thus the information about immigrants from the country will not be spread.
Qalibaf also said that a large amount of foreign currency subsidies are given to the inputs at the beginning of the chain, and said: This figure is more than $15 billion, in fact about $17 billion. In addition, the same groups also give riyals at the end of the chain, and the sum of these two figures is a very large number.
The Speaker of the Islamic Council continued: In this situation, we are witnessing high prices and chaos, which should be one of the most important concerns of the 12th Parliament and should be considered in cooperation with the government, because we are actually providing riyals to the end of the chain and dollars to the beginning of the chain, although there is still a lot of dissatisfaction with this. All of them indicate that the two-way database is inaccurate and not updated in time, resulting in a waste of resources; these issues need to be paid attention to by the relevant committees.
