Attention Deficit Disorder
In His high priestly prayer, Jesus prayed to the Father concerning His disciples: “Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth.”
(John 17:17) God’s Word can cleanse us. Christ’s Word has the power to cleanse us—“Now you are clean through the word I have spoken to you” (15:3).
That is an amazing prayer. I believe He also prayed for us, our children and grandchildren, and their children and grandchildren, the Christian students of today.
I had a strange dream last night. It was so confusing that sometimes I couldn’t imagine it. I was looking for a place but I couldn’t remember what, where or why. I realized that my ADHD was acting up.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is also known as: ADHD,
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired executive function causing symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and mood dysregulation that are excessive and pervasive, impairing in multiple contexts, and inappropriate for age.
In my dream, I was running around, climbing over mountains and crossing rivers, and it was really tiring.
I had ADHD pop up during my sleep. Very weird.
I have a terrible memory and can’t remember the last thing I said. It’s annoying to talk to me. It seems to get worse as I get older. Reading the Bible helps. If you’re like me, you can try to brainwash yourself with the Bible.
I woke up and prayed, Lord, please calm me and help me fall back asleep. I opened the Bible app and listened to the Gospel of John. I fell asleep so quickly that I doubted I made it to chapter 2.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. In the beginning was the Word with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
