Frustrated Priscilla Meireles Denial and John EstradaShe said she was “shocked” that her husband would make such comments on social media.
On Tuesday, July 16, Meireles said in her Instagram Story that she and Estrada did not “mutually” reach a separation agreement, shortly after Estrada claimed that they both agreed to “take some time off.”
“I am deeply shocked and dismayed by Mr. Estrada’s recent public statements. To be clear, we never reached any agreement to separate,” she said.

The former beauty queen, who is currently in Brazil, stressed that despite leaving the Philippines, her marriage to Estrada remains intact.
“We were married when I left the Philippines, and we remain married to this day,” she said. “While there is certainly more to this story, now is not the right time to go into those details. But whatever they are, it does not change the direction of Faith.”
Still, Meireles thanked the public for their “support and kindness” during her troubled marriage to Estrada and said “everything will be resolved in due time.”
“I appreciate your continued support, kindness and love during this difficult time,” she wrote. “I am confident that everything will work out. Thank you for your understanding.”
The 2003 Miss Universe and 2004 Miss Earth winner’s statement came hours after Estrada released a statement on Instagram saying he and Meireles had “mutually agreed” to temporarily end their marriage.
In response to Estrada’s allegations of infidelity with Merrills, the actor also denied his relationship with Lily Holman in the post.
