Kawenga: I want to commend the government for ensuring the timely release of PSLCE and JCE examination results.

The Private Schools Owners Association of Malawi (PRISAM) has commended the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) for the prompt release of the 2024 Primary Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) and Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examination results.

The Ministry of Education in collaboration with MANEB on Friday released the results for the 2023/2024 academic session in a move that has been widely acknowledged.

PRISAM Chairman, Ernest Kaonga, expressed satisfaction with the timely release of the document, noting that it marked a significant improvement in the efficiency of the examination process.

Kawenga stressed that the early release of examination results will enable parents and guardians to make informed decisions about their children’s educational path.

“I would like to commend the government for ensuring the timely release of PSLCE and JCE examination results. Delays in the release of results usually put parents in a difficult position and make it difficult to adjust to new academic requirements. The timely release of results this time provides ample opportunity to prepare and plan for the next stage of their children’s education,” Kaonga said.

He further stressed that the early relaxation would be particularly beneficial to parents of students appearing for the PSLCE examination as it would give them enough time to make important decisions about their children’s educational path.
