On July 25, 2024, the third meeting of the Attorneys General of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Bishkek. The meeting discussed Turkey-Russia, Turkey-Syria and Vladimir Putin’s planned visit to Turkey. At the invitation of Turkish President Erdogan to meet with Syrian leader Bashar Assad, Bashar Assad made a surprise visit to Moscow on July 25 and met with Russian President Putin.
On July 26, 2024, the Turkish World Scientific Research Organization Forum was held in Istanbul.
