Libreville, Thursday, July 11, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – In the presence of the Minister of Public Works, General Flavien Nziengui Nzoundou, the Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Omer Ndimina and several economic figures, the Prime Minister chaired the last important working meeting held on Monday to mainly discuss the mission he carried out in Belgrade, Serbia last May, which aimed to strengthen the cooperative relations that unite the two countries.
The visit on May 20 mobilized some members of the Transitional Government and representatives of certain ministries and led to the signing of several economic agreements between Gabon and the host country. Raymond Ndong Sima organized this important meeting with the ministries participating in the economic mission in Belgrade so that a detailed report could be drawn up soon and officially presented to the Transitional President, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
Therefore, the Head of the Transitional Government established a joint committee composed of seventeen (17) ministerial departments specifically responsible for cooperation between the two countries, and then he asked each department to be truly equal to the task so that the work discussed by the committee would be perfectly integrated into the action plan of the Transitional Government, especially its goal of achieving improved living conditions for the people.
Bilateral relations between Gabon and Serbia were established 55 years ago.
