In the Kankan administrative district, a total of 12,255 general education and French-Arabic candidates will take the Single Baccalaureate Examination 2024. A few hours before the last exam, the regional inspector of the Ministry of Education, Kankan, assured that the examination halls are ready and the subjects are ready for distribution to the districts.

“Regarding the preparations, it should be remembered that the funds for the 2024 Bachelor’s Degree exams are currently available in the Kankan region. The boxes are allocated to the DPEs in different regions according to the labor force. In terms of these boxes, the region has thirteen (13) boxes for all profiles, of which five (5) boxes for Siguiri, five (5) boxes for Kankan, one (1) box for Kérouané, one (1) box for Koouroussa, and one (1) crate for Mandiana. In terms of the labor force, the Kankan region offers all types of general education, French-Arabic exams, 12,255 candidates, and 3,416 girls. In the French-Arabic aspect, we have 573 candidates, of which 31 girls take two exam centers. This means that the Kankan administrative region has a total of 32 exam centers, including 2 French-Arabic exam centers,” explained Kaba Sangaré.
The head of the Kangkang District Education Inspectorate said that invigilators will be trained on the eve of the exam to ensure the integrity and security of the exam.
“At the monitoring level, the invigilators are arranged according to the number of examination sites and classrooms. There are two supervisors for each classroom. The instructions are to conduct responsible monitoring, which means not intimidating candidates and not favoring candidates. It is also simple to adhere to the spirit of applying the general regulations of the national examination. Therefore, on the eve of the start of the examination, all invigilators will gather in a room to receive updated instructions on the role they must play during the examination process. This was done for the seventh year entrance examination, it was done at the BEPC, and it will be done for the bachelor’s degree. We will insist again because this is the last exam and we really should not joke because these are future executives, ready to enter university to become national executives. Therefore, we must insist on this level so that those who can get out of it become true high school graduates,” he declared.
Speaking about the security system, Kaba Sangaré pointed out: “The security provisions for the BEPC, which just ended today and enters its seventh year, the security system for the Bachelor’s degree exam will be the same as for other previous exams. So at this level, the defense and security forces are aware of the situation in terms of health and safety personnel. So everyone is in the system. We are waiting for the day when the Bachelor’s degree exam will be held for the first time in the Konkan region and the rest of the country, because the schedule is the same,” he added.
It is noteworthy that according to the official schedule, the first examination of the single bachelor’s degree program 2024 will begin across the country this Saturday, June 22, 2024.
