Police reported this Friday that another suspect was killed yesterday in Sabana Perdida, in Northern Santo Domingo, during a confrontation with a patrol that was looking for them for the murder of two people in the aforementioned area.
The Northern Santo Domingo Regional Police Department identified the alleged sociopath as Hairo Michael de la Cruz de la Cruz, 32, in a news release; Agents assigned to the Central Bureau of Investigation (DICRIM) Arrest Warrants No. 530-2022-EMES-05510 and 530-2022-EMES-05865 were issued against him for the murder of two persons and the injury of three persons in the aforementioned department in 2022.

According to preliminary reports, the anti-social element, upon noticing the presence of the investigating officer who was hunting him, without saying a word started firing at him and managed to hit the bulletproof vest of a police officer who found themselves in dire need to repel the said aggression, leading to Hailo’s death from injuries sustained.
The police said that from the deceased, they seized a Tauro brand pistol, caliber 9 mm, which was used to attack the agents, and other items.
For investigation purposes, a 27-year-old man who was accompanying the deceased was arrested.
