News from Angola – The Council. Installers of PATFES (Partido Angolano para o, Trabalho, Fraternidade Económico Social) on Friday outlined the action strategy to obtain the signatures required by the law.
Under the guidance of Coordinator Paulo Nweka, José Saraiva was appointed Minister of Economic Affairs and Isaias Garotta as Minister of Finance, responsible for creating the material conditions for the implementation of the above-mentioned projects.
At the time, Paul Nweka called on the now appointed members to take responsibility for obtaining the 7,500 signatures required for the Constitutional Court as soon as possible.
The installation committee was recognized by the Constitutional Court on Wednesday (7th) and was authorized to carry out any political activities.
PATFES’s top priorities are to address unemployment, especially among youth, and promote economic diversification.
The PATFE, composed of staff trained in the Republic of Cuba (Caimaneros), aims to become a significant political force in Angola.
