(Ouagadougou, July 25, 2024). The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, received on Thursday a delegation of Malian parliamentarians, led by the President of the National Transitional Council of Mali, Colonel Malick Divoy, on an official visit to Burkina Faso.

Colonel Diou said that he came to pay a courtesy visit to the President of Faso, to convey the warm brotherly greetings of his brother and friend, Colonel Assimi Goita, the transitional President of Mali, and to thank the brotherly people of Burkina Faso for their support. All efforts are for the benefit of the people of Mali.

During the meeting, the two personalities mainly discussed parliamentary cooperation. “The President of Faso invited us to strengthen the parliamentary relations that have always existed between our two countries, which will soon be expanded. We know that Burkina Faso has always been a destination for the Malian authorities. Today, we come to talk about the Federal Treaty and the AES Union Parliament will soon see the light of day,” said the President of the National Labor Union of the Republic of Mali, who praised the leadership and vision of the heads of state of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso.

Colonel Malick DIAW will co-host the 12th Promotion Ceremony of the Institute of Higher Studies and Civil Protection (ISEPC) on Friday, July 26, 2024, together with the President of the Transitional Legislative Assembly, Ousmane BOUGOUMA.
