Guam Governor Lou Leon Guerrero announced a ban on one of those drugs, called fentanyl.
The Governor said the fight against drugs is not new in Guam. The drug “fentanyl” is one of the most dangerous drugs, and it is different from other drugs because it can kill a person with just one dose.
In early July, Police Chief Stephen Ignacio reported three deaths on Guam from the drug.
Kiribati Oxygen Manufacturing Company
The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that there is an oxygen plant on the Kiribati Island of Kiritimati that can fill 24 oxygen tanks in 24 hours – meaning it can help four patients affected by Covid-19.
In the past, Kirimati Hospital relied on oxygen tanks from abroad, such as South Tarawa Hospital, which is about 3,000 kilometers away.
The hospital established the oxygen plant in Kiritimati in partnership with the World Health Organization, the European Union, the Ministry of Health and Kiribati Hospital.

Fijian Deputy Minister Biman Prasad indicated that the new flights currently being organized between Nadi and Dallas, Texas will be very helpful to the Kingdom of Fiji in the United States in many ways.
Prasad, who is also the head of the Fijian government’s finance and development minister, said with these new arrivals it will open the door for more immigrants to the United States from the north.
He also said tourism was a strong contributor to Fiji’s economic growth, with 36 per cent of the country’s workforce expected to be employed in the sector by 2023.

The New Zealand Labour Party revealed the Pacific people’s words when it released New Zealand unemployment figures last week, confirming from those records that 11,100 more Maori than Pacific people were unemployed compared to the same period last year.
These statistics show that the unemployment rate for Pacific Islanders is 8.3%.
