Mexico beat Senegal 2-0 in a friendly match at Marin Park in Miami, USA, on Wednesday. Former Sao Paulo player Juan Carlos Osorio’s team struggled against the African side and only managed to win in the second half.

In the opening stage, Mexico dominated the game but made some defensive mistakes. However, in the second half, Osorio made the right changes and with the help of Ramirez who just came on and Pizarro who came on as a substitute in the 33rd minute, he teamed up with Duenas in the 28th minute to win.

Mexico’s next official commitment will be against Canada in March, valid for the third and fourth rounds of the CONCACAF Finals hexagonal qualifiers, which will determine the teams from Central America, North America and the Caribbean that will go on to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
