Osona village development is vital to Okahandja’s future

Okahandja Mayor Beatrice Kotungondo on Friday highlighted the town’s ambitious plans for rapid expansion of Osona Village.

Kotungondo told a news conference that the development of Osona Housing Estate is an important part of the town’s strategy to provide affordable and accessible housing to residents.

With 2,070 homes already built, the Osona Village project will be one of the largest residential developments in the region.

With an estimated 13,000 to 15,000 homes expected to be built over the next few years, the expansion is designed to transform the town’s landscape, provide homes for thousands of families and boost economic growth in the town.

“This is more than just a housing project,” Kotungondo stressed. “Osona Village represents our commitment to creating a livable, inclusive community where all residents can thrive. By providing quality housing, we are laying the foundation for a better future for Okahandja.”

Osona Village is being rapidly developed to meet the growing demand for housing in Okahandja, driven by the town’s growing population and its appeal as a desirable place to live.
