A 22-year-old man who harassed and tortured a brain-damaged man before stabbing him to death in his home has been described by his family as “extremely evil”.
Christopher Hall’s daughter Rebecca told the Central Criminal Court today that defendant Owen Maughan’s decision to admit murdering her father would not change anything for her family as it “does not undo or justify” what he had done and would not bring her father back to life.
