The case, titled “ONEA Trial against Fraudulent Users”, was heard at the High Court (TGI Ouaga 1) on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Following the call, the filing of the case was postponed to August 20, 2024, “in order to extract the defendant.”

A defense lawyer explained that during the arguments it was pointed out that the defendants did not come to the palace because the prosecutor had not ordered it.

It is noteworthy that the five were charged for fraudulently reducing tap water from the National Water and Sanitation Office (ONEA).
