Oman Air has announced the launch of its new Business Class, which will replace the airline’s first class product, retaining its spacious cabin layout, classic lie-flat seats and Wi-Fi connectivity, but with more affordable fares and a redefinition of service to meet the needs of modern travelers.

Focusing on London and Bangkok services, the new higher-level business experience offers all the features of premium flying, providing guests with unprecedented space to work, connect and rest, whether travelling for business or premium leisure.

Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said: “Inspired by valuable customer feedback and in order to adapt and evolve with global market trends, we have strategically evolved our premium service offering to provide greater value and appeal. The traditional First Class experience has seen reduced demand and after careful analysis and comparison with industry standards, we have decided to discontinue this product. This decision allows us to focus on delivering an exceptional Business Class experience that better meets the expectations of modern travellers and is more aligned with the demographics targeted by the country’s tourism objectives, such as wellness, adventure and MICE.”

The new Business Class cabin offers 82 inches of seat pitch, privacy walls at each seat, 23-inch personal screens, free Wi-Fi connectivity and à la carte dining.

From September 9, 2024, passengers can book Business Class
