Just 12 days before the French capital’s 2024 Summer Olympics kicks off, the Olympic Torch Relay was combined with the Bastille Day military parade to pass through famous landmarks around Paris, including the Champs-Elysees, the National Assembly, Notre Dame and the Grand Mosque. Organisers praised the success of the relay across the country, which has passed through 450 French towns and cities since May 8 and has been watched by an estimated 5 million people.
