Ok Taec-yeon will star alongside Kimura Takuya in the upcoming Japanese film “La Grande Maison Paris.”
“Grand Maison Paris” is adapted from the 2019 hit TBS TV series “Grand Maison Tokyo”. The film reunites the original cast, including Takuya Kimura, Kyoka Suzuki, Kazuki Sawamura, and Mitsuhiro Oikawa. The story tells the story of genius chefs Obana Natsuki (played by Takuya Kimura) and Hayami Rinko (played by Suzuki Kyoka) who opened “Grand Maison Paris” in France after winning three Michelin stars in Japan, and challenged to become the first Asian to win three Michelin stars in Paris.
Speaking about his collaboration with the team, Taec-yeon said, “It was a valuable experience to be able to work with Kimura and the international team, filming in Japan and France. I am excited and honored by this.”
