The new Minister of National Judicial Personnel Services, Mr Niehodemus Mosoro, will give priority to the welfare of his staff in his new role.
Mr Nihodmuth was sworn in recently in Port Moresby by the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, Sir Bob Dadai, and the Chief Commissioner of the Papua New Guinea Land Commission, Mr Maureen Killepak.
“The welfare and well-being of judges is of paramount importance to me. I look forward to supporting the Chief Justice and all judges in their reform efforts,” Mr Mossoro said.
Papua New Guinea Land Commission Chief Commissioner Maureen Killepak praised the appointment, which will last for three years.
“We would like to thank the chairman and all members for their trust and confidence in our appointment and we will certainly do our utmost to uphold the constitution and establish a legislative framework to move the country forward,” he said.
Justice Minister Pila Niningi congratulated the officers for their outstanding performance and said many people applied but these two officers met the requirements.
