Today, Friday, Israeli occupation aircraft attacked tents of displaced persons in the Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing a woman and three children. Gaza.

Medical sources said that “Israel attacked the tents of displaced persons near the Doctors Without Borders foundation west of Khan Younis, killing four citizens, including a woman and three children.”

The area was one of the areas that the Israeli occupation had previously claimed to have been categorized as “safe and humanitarian” before later removing it from that category.

On Friday morning, the Israeli occupation reduced the size of the “humanitarian zone” in the cities of Khan Yunis and Deir el-Balah, with residents of several areas ordered to evacuate and hundreds of citizens displaced.

In an area less than one-fifth of the Gaza Strip, more than 1.7 million displaced citizens live in the Al-Mawasi area and its surrounding areas (in the west), which lack the most basic necessities of life due to the ongoing Israeli military operation, which, according to the international humanitarian aid organization Oxfam, is a war of annihilation.

Al-Mawasi is a sandy stretch along the coastline that stretches from southwest of the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip, past west of Khan Younis to west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip from land, sea and air, killing 40,005 citizens and injuring 92,401 people, with thousands of victims still lying under the rubble, on the roads and on the roads, and ambulances and rescue workers are unable to reach them.
