WINDHOEK, June 20 – Matthias Ngwangwama, Managing Director of Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), who went missing at 19:00 yesterday evening, was found at Auasblick hiking point around 4:00 this morning with stab wounds and minor injuries.
According to the police report, the victim was allegedly exercising in the mountains when he was approached by two unknown men armed with knives. They tied him up and ordered him to hand over his belongings. He handed them his cell phone and car keys, after which they disappeared into the bushes.
Property stolen: 1 mobile phone and a motor vehicle, a Mercedes Benz with license plate number N32339W.
Additional information: The victim was injured while climbing the hill to the nearest road and was taken to Catholic Hospital. He is in stable condition.
