On August 28 this year, the innovative project “Let’s Raise a Healthy Generation” was officially launched, dedicated to lifestyle education for parents, teachers, doctors and students, especially personalized nutrition, mental health and all the more important aspects of growth and development. The “Raising a Healthy Generation” project takes lifestyle education as its main goal, and its main mission is to create healthier future generations, and lifestyle education is the foundation of this goal. Through the educational projects we are going to carry out, our goal is to support children and their families, teachers and doctors in physical, mental and emotional health education. As a result, both children and adults will understand that only a harmonious and balanced lifestyle can ensure the path from their potential to performance, which is gradually built at the individual level throughout life. The specific goals of the “Let’s Raise a Healthy Generation” project take into account the development of educational skills needed to support lifestyle education programs. Health and nutrition are the basis for learning and an important investment in a more sustainable, inclusive and peaceful future. They can improve educational outcomes, provide a favorable environment for students’ growth, and promote inclusion and equity in health and education.
The implementation of this project has brought a significant addition to modern education, emphasizing the development of a healthier and more informed generation. “Let’s Raise a Healthy Generation” provides educational, innovative, interactive, creative resources in an integrated way to create a solid educational community where parents, teachers, doctors and students learn how to adopt a balanced lifestyle and contribute to the harmonious development of their children. For the first year of the project implementation, the envisaged actions are: – Lifestyle education through bicycles, interactive textbooks for middle and high schools – 36 weeks of education through games and play – Gala on students’ performance in national assessments – 20 national conferences for teachers, doctors and families – 10 monthly conferences in partnership with the Romanian Academy, the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the “Ana Aslan” National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics” – Weekly newsletter – Teachers’ guide – Doctors’ guide (pediatricians, family doctors, school doctors) – Families’ guide Gala of the National Assessment Students’ Performance 2024 On the day of the Gala, the much-anticipated “Gala of the National Assessment Students’ Performance 2024” took place. The event was held at the Romanian Senate and was organized by the Commission for Human Rights, Equal Opportunities, Cults and Minorities and Nutribalance. The event is dedicated to the best Romanian students, who have obtained 10 in the national assessments and 10 in the bachelor’s degree programs. The average score of 10.5 points. Students who achieve outstanding results will receive honorary degrees and prizes provided by the event’s partners in recognition of their efforts and excellent academic performance. The event benefited from the presence of many distinguished guests, among whom were representatives of various Romanian ministries and the government. The launch of the “Healthy Generation” project marks an important step in the development of education for the health and well-being of future generations.
