Princess Martha Louise, the eldest daughter of King Harald V of Norway, is getting married in less than two months. On August 31, she will say “yes” to her fiancé Durek Verret.

According to the Daily Mail, the ceremony will be divided into two parts and will be presided over by officials from different religions.

“We are delighted to announce that Reverend Margit Lovis Holt will officiate at our wedding in Geiranger on August 31, following the Norwegian church ceremony. Michael Beckwith will also take part in the ceremony and give a welcoming speech,” the princess said. In order to allow guests from all over the world to attend the wedding, the couple has booked several hotels in the region. Guests will stay there during the four days of celebrations.

On the wedding day, guests will take a three-hour boat ride on the Geirangerfjord to the ceremony. After the ceremony, a reception and party will be held at a Norwegian hotel. The American band Black Eyed Peas will perform for the guests. The invitation states that no photography is allowed at the wedding.

We remind you that Martha Louise resigned from her duties as a working member of the royal family two years ago, mainly because of the controversial views of her partner. Durek declared himself bisexual and called himself a shaman.

In his book, Mind Hacker, he suggested that cancer was a choice, recommended exercises to remove “marks” left by previous sexual partners from women’s vaginas, and sold a $222 locket on his website called the “Mind Optimizer” that he claimed would help overcome the coronavirus. All of this came as a surprise to sober Norway. “He’s an imposter, a charlatan and a fraud,” columnist and humorist Dagfin Nordbo once said.

Martha Louise, 52, is marrying Durek, with whom she has three daughters, seven years after divorcing her first husband, writer Ari Behn. The former couple married in May 2002.
