In order to reduce disparities, provide equal opportunities and strengthen high-tech companies in the Negev and Galilee, the Innovation Authority, the Ministry of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience, the Takuma Directorate and the Ministry of Social Equality have issued a call as part of the “Leap to High-Tech” program for high-tech companies that want to absorb workers from the Negev, Galilee and remote regions, by opening new branches of high-tech companies in these regions.
As part of the “Leap into High Tech” program, which has a budget of 35 million shekels, companies will be able to receive financial support for the practical training of inexperienced employees, as well as funding for experienced employees who will accompany new employees in a mode of on-the-job training. The winning companies are expected to start the program within six months of the award, with an implementation period of 12 to 24 months.
As part of the support, high-tech companies will be able to receive:
* For programs up to NIS 1 million – up to 70% of the approved budget of the program.
* For programs up to NIS 5 million – up to 50% of the approved budget of the program.
* For programs up to NIS 15 million – up to 30% of the approved budget of the program.
Companies looking to expand their operations to the Galilee Negev region and remote areas can submit applications under the call until September 29, 2024.
