Nikolay Denkov: As long as Peevsky is on the political stage, we have no chance of dialogue with the Democratic Party
The DSB proposal for technical cabinets is worth discussing because it has its merits, but also its problems.
As long as Peevsky is in the political sphere, we have no chance to talk about policies with the DPS. If Peevsky leaves the political arena – then we can talk. This is what the chairman of the parliamentary group “Continue Change – Democratic Bulgaria” Nikolay Denkov told journalists before the start of today’s meeting of the National Committee of “Continue Change”.
Denkov called and waited to see who would get the second appointment. “Let’s see when it arrives and then we’ll decide,” he said.
Regarding the preservation and development of the Union, we are all in agreement, we have been saying this for several days. “This has been made clear in their state bodies, today we will also discuss this, and I expect our National Council to make such a decision as well,” Denkov noted in response to a question about the decision of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Strong Bulgaria, part of the PP-DB coalition format. Regarding their proposal for a technical cabinet on the third mandate, Denkov commented that it should be discussed carefully. He said that the proposal has its merits, but also its problems.
Asked what exactly a technical cabinet means, Denkov recalled that he is the prime minister of a cabinet that has political support. I have said many times that every cabinet must have clear political support. These are issues that need to be discussed, he added.
