The Prime Minister of Vanuatu arrived at Parliament and was welcomed with a formal pavillion ceremony and a gun salute.
Charlot Salwai will be in New Zealand until Thursday and will also visit Auckland.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon welcomed Salwai’s visit and spoke of the long-standing relationship between the two countries.
Luxon also expressed his gratitude to the RSE workers in Vanuatu for their support and contribution to New Zealand.
