The nights are getting shorter. That’s why we took our last night ride on the road last Thursday. But don’t worry: this winter, at the initiative of some members of our club, we will play clay on Thursday nights. We start tomorrow night.
In the autumn and winter the RTCG team consisting of Mathijs, Jarno, Jochem, Ramon, Arjan and Wilco always rides the Gravel/MTB Nightride on Thursday evenings. They want to do it again this year, but now as an RTCG event. As a board we are very happy with this initiative of the club.
We depart every Thursday night 19:00 From Goossens. No cars allowed on Tuesdays. You can ride a mountain bike or a gravel bike. The route is in principle shared in advance and the trip takes about two hours. Good front and rear lighting as well as a reflective vest are required. Avoid single tracks and forests: because not all areas are accessible at night and we don’t want to disturb the wildlife.
If there are a lot of people showing up, we split the group into two and ride at a pace that anyone can keep up with.
Are you excited? Well we are excited to be attending this winter’s first Gravel/MTB Nightride tomorrow (Thursday 14th September) at 7pm in Goossens on Ruurloseweg.
