This week, Kreemikast brings home the debut album and fresh singles from Mariin K. and Peter Põder. In the field of foreign music, Sabrina Carpenter is trying to leave her mark permanently with a new album in 2024.
Mariin K. – “The Beach”
Mariin Kallikorm’s newly formed band Mariin K. releases their first single under the Seksound label. “‘Beach’ is a summer song about love, letting go, and finding freedom. While writing this song, I also tried to let go of my usual songwriting mode – I often overthink and try to make things too complicated. That’s how a vibrant four-chord pop song was born,” Kallikorm explains.
Peter Põder – “Summer is left to us”
This year’s Estonian Song finalist Peter Põder has released the single “Suvi meile jaeb”. “We were really lucky with the weather this year and the summer I had been waiting for so long is full of great memories. That’s what inspired me to write this story,” said Põder.
Cream Box – “I’ll Never Get There”
On Wednesday, Kreemikast released his debut album, Prügi ja praht, in which he explores ideas of trash and debris, the remnants of something, as well as his love of the unexpected and linear.
Sabrina Carpenter – “The Sharpest Tool”
Sabrina Carpenter has had a breakout year this summer with two hits, a new novel, her sixth of her career. The 12-track album, produced solely by Carpenter and with Jack Antonoff as primary producer, will kick off a sold-out stadium tour on September 23 that will include 33 concerts.
Mk.gee – “A Lonely Battle”
American singer-songwriter Mk.gee, who released his first album this year, has released a new single that continues his more psychedelic alternative style Rhythm and Blues On Tracks.
Magdalena Bay – “That’s My Floor”
Los Angeles pop duo Magdalena Bay released three singles over the summer and on Friday released their second full-length studio album, Imaginal Disk .
Blink-182 – “It’s All In My Head”
Blink-182 announced that they would release their own version last October return——From the album “One More Time…” Luxury– a version with eight additional tracks. This week they have already shared two of the eight with their listeners.
Travis Scott and Young Thug – “Yeah Yeah”
Travis Scott celebrated his 10th birthday by re-releasing his 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo, which is now available in its entirety on digital platforms. It is currently only available on Scott’s website Luxury-version, which features bonus tracks previously unreleased from the making of Rodeo.
Sofi Tukker and Kah-Lo – “Woof”
Dance music duo Sofi Tukker have released their third album, titled “Bread.” The single, released on the same day, also features Nigerian producer and singer Kah-Lo.
Coldplay, Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna ja Tini – “We Pray”
The guest-studded single premiered at Glastonbury Festival and is the second official release from Max Martin’s stunning October-produced album ‘Moon Music’.
